Course Structure, Assessment & Program Expectations
The Face Yoga Institute™ Certification Program is intentionally designed to support learning through education, embodiment, reflection, and practical application. This is not a passive course. It is a guided journey that blends theory with experience, and personal growth with professional readiness.
The program is delivered through a combination of self-paced online learning, experiential practice, reflective integration, and live assessment. This structure allows students to move through the material at a steady, supportive pace while fully integrating the principles of face yoga, conscious living, and ethical practice.

Program Structure
The certification is organized into six core modules, each building upon the last:
Module 1 introduces the foundation of the program, including the mission, values, and expectations.
Module 2 explores the principles and philosophy of yoga and how they relate to face yoga and mind–body–spirit connection.
Module 3 provides foundational knowledge of facial anatomy and nervous system awareness.
Module 4 focuses on experiential face yoga practices and core techniques.
Module 5 integrates face yoga into holistic self-care routines and client-centered experiences.
Module 6 prepares students to teach with confidence, professionalism, and ethical awareness.
Across these modules, students engage in written lessons, guided reflection, case studies, and experiential exercises designed to support both personal embodiment and professional competency.
The total program includes approximately 22 hours of study, plus a final live practicum.
Assessment Strategy
The Face Yoga Institute™ Certification Program uses a balanced assessment approach that honors both knowledge and lived understanding.
Students complete a quiz designed to assess knowledge of facial anatomy, yoga concepts, nervous system awareness, and holistic practices. The quiz includes a combination of multiple-choice and short-answer questions.
Reflective journaling and integration exercises are included throughout the course. These reflections are non-graded and are intended to support self-awareness, embodiment, and personal growth rather than performance.
To complete the certification, students also participate in a final live 30-minute Zoom practicum, where they demonstrate foundational teaching skills, session structure, and professional presence in a supportive environment.
